AC Milan chief Galliani confident summer signings can make impact

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani believes all their summer signings can make a big impact this season.

He said: "We are very enthusiastic about signing Flamini. He was a great buy, as many clubs wanted him. It was a difficult negotiation process, yet the transfer itself wasn't acclaimed as much as it should've been. The same goes for Gianluca Zambrotta."

Someone who certainly grabbed the headlines was Ronaldinho following his £18m switch from Barcelona.

"Entertaining football is an important factor in the mind of President Silvio Berlusconi. Ronaldinho has brought great enthusiasm, as we sold an extra 20,000 season tickets after his arrival.

"On top of all that, Ronnie has brought new motivation to his teammates."
