AC Milan chief Galliani: Berlusconi wants Leonardo to stay

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has moved to insist coach Leonardo is wanted by the club.

The Brazilian is said to be growing tired of the jibes coming from Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi.

But Galliani says: "Berlusconi also thinks like me.

"I heard from him on Sunday evening. If we hadn't had Nesta, Pato and Beckham out for a long time, we would be top.

"Our squad is inferior to no-ones. Now there is a regret because Inter have relented and we haven't been able to profit, recording three draws at home.

"We still have confidence and easy or difficult fixture lists don't exist, as we have also lost points with Livorno…"
