AC Milan chief Galliani bemused by derby refereeing

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani was left unimpressed by the refereeing for their derby defeat to Inter Milan.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani was left unimpressed by the refereeing for their derby defeat to Inter Milan.

Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri questioned the performance of official Paolo Valeri after the game and Galliani is just as bemused.

“You all saw what happened, the referee was worth four out of 10 on a report card,” he declared.

“If all of the newspapers have given a four to Valeri then there must be a reason for it…

“I’ve been told by our lawyers that if I say his performance was technically inadequate then I don’t risk being punished.”
