AC Milan chief Galliani: Beating Brescia decisive in title battle

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani believes victory over Brescia was decisive in the title race.

The Rossoneri went eight points clear at the top of the Serie A table after Robinho's winner at Brescia on Saturday evening.

"I am happy because we knew it would be an extremely important game, but the Scudetto isn't ours yet," said the Vice-President.

"Brescia play well and every big team has struggled to get a result here. Now we have to focus on Sunday, as we'll be without a host of players against Bologna.

"Rino Gattuso suffered a thigh strain in the warm-up, Mark Van Bommel will be suspended, while we're missing our three centre-forwards Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexandre Pato and Pippo Inzaghi. We'll have to make do and try to pick up some of the four points we need to win the title."
