Manchester City representatives have held high powered transfer talks with AC Milan this week.
Corriere dello Sport says Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani dined with City officials and turned down an informal offer for Alexandre Pato.
The discussions did not end with the Brazilian, however.
Galliani countered with an enquiry for City striker Emmanuel Adebayor. Milan have been tracking the Togo star since he first became unsettled at Arsenal.
Milan are willing to include Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in a swap for Adebayor, with City yet to completely shut the door on the proposal.
