AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists coach Carlo Ancelotti will remain in charge next season.

Yesterday Silvio Berlusconi, the Milan President, said: "results can influence" Carlo Ancelotti's future. "Ancelotti is and remains the Milan Coach," Galliani said. "Don't be surprised by the words of Berlusconi."

When asked if Milan could still win the Scudetto, he replied: "I don't see many possibilities. On top of the points Milan could make, I believe Inter will get more than eight."
