AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits some regret over failing to push through a summer deal for Barcelona ace Samuel Eto'o.
The Cameroon star has revived his career this season and Galliani revealed: "If I could have signed Eto'o, I would have. We tried hard to do so.
"In the summer I actually tested them, but (Barca president Joan) Laporta wanted £40 million, which was really too much."
