AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted his admiration for Arsenal captain Robin van Persie. Galliani sought out Van Persie after Milan's thumping Champions League win last week.

"Van Persie? I like him. Whenever I say that a player is not that good then we take him!

"The chase in the tunnel of the San Siro is true, and I was able to say hello, they were compliments, but it is not that we are taking Van Persie.

"He's a nice player, nice to see him playing well."
