AC Milan chief Galliani admits approach for Fiorentina's Frey

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits they sounded out Fiorentina about Sebastien Frey's availability this summer.

He said: "We have made a request for Frey. But they (Fiorentina) were seeking a figure that was unrealistic."

Galliani also confirmed plans to send Ignazio Abate, Digao and Alberto Paloschi away on-loan for the new season: "We have a big squad and need to some players away on-loan."

He added: "I can assure everyone that Clarence Seedorf will stay with us."
