AC Milan chief Marco Fassone insists Gigio Donnarumma must demand a transfer if he wants to leave.
Donnarumma is again being targeted by Milan fans after news broke of his agent, Mino Raiola, taking legal action for his client's contract to be rescinded.
“He's calmer than he was on Wednesday," said Fassone in a video on the Diavolo's official website.
“I was pleased that he went to the youth industry party yesterday, as well as with his position on Instagram. I hope things go back to normal.
“We have no intention of selling the player, who is a human, technical and economic asset for this club.
“If he tells us he wants to be sold, we'll be open to offers, as long as no strange mechanisms are used to get us to sell him at a lower price than his market value.
“We want to protect him all the way. Am I against Mirabelli? It's not true, Milan are working as one.
“We're a united group. Whoever bothers one of my collaborators bothers Milan and myself.
“It's clear that everyone has their own way of talking, but we won't fall for these little games, which are trying to stir up trouble."
