AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has ended his interest in Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko.

"He's not for sale," said Galliani. "I've asked officially and (Roman) Abramovich said no. So we must be serious and disciplined.

"Should a club say no, we must accept. It means we have to think of something else."
