AC Milan chief Ariedo Braida is trawling the French transfer market to find a replacement for knee injury victim Rino Gattuso.

AC Milan chief Ariedo Braida is trawling the French transfer market to find a replacement for knee injury victim Rino Gattuso.

Braida has already asked Lyon about a price for Cameroon international Jean II Makoun, who has already declared an ambition to join Jose Mourinho's Inter this season.

Also under consideration is Bordeaux midfielder Alou Diarra and teammate Yoann Gourcuff, who could be recalled from his loan at the French club.
