AC Milan chief Ariedo Braida hopes their rich European history will count in tonight's Champions League clash with Manchester United.
United are at the San Siro tonight.
"Hopefully, we have a history, a past. In words one can say many things, but words can be wasted. We try, we try, we will give it everything as we have always done and as history shows of Milan, the last twenty or more years of Mr Berlusconi," said Braida.
"Eight finals are not few, I think it's a record. We'll try to do well, the important thing is that the team does well, then we hope that the result is positive."
Asked about United's most dangerous player, Braida added: "They are all strong, but Wayne Rooney is extremely strong."
