AC Milan are chasing Standard Liege midfielder Axel Witsel.
La Stampa says Milan transfers chief Ariedo Braida was in Belgium last week to see Standard and Witsel in action against Lokeren.
Witsel declared only yesterday he planned to leave Standard in the summer.
The 22 year-old is tied to Standard until 2015 and carries a price-tag of €15 million. Napoli are also monitoring the youngster.
