AC Milan team manager Christian Abbiati has welcomed their Champions League draw with Arsenal.

Milan will face Arsenal in the Europa League Round of 16 and today the Gunners were crushed 3-0 by Manchester City in the Carabao Cup Final.

“Arsenal are a great side, we haven't seen today's game, as it's important to take things one step at a time," said Abbiati.

"We won't play Arsenal until March 8.

“These tests are all very difficult, but also exciting. We've got this important match tonight for Serie A position, then Lazio in the Coppa Italia semi-final, followed by Inter in the Derby."
