AC Milan captain Ambrosini says they must be united after massive squad changes

AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini has called on the club to come together after massive squad changes this summer.

Ambrosini signed a new one-year contract at San Siro in the summer, but the likes of Pippo Inzaghi, Gennaro Gattuso, Alessandro Nesta and Clarence Seedorf opted to leave.

"It will be a different year for everyone and when you change some disruption is normal, but this does not rule out the creation of some new chemistry," he stated on Monday.

"We must try to stay together as much as possible and we must try to pass on the values of this club to the new arrivals.

"There is a stimulus to do well and we must all contribute to make sure that we, as a team, are competing at the levels that we should be.

"And last season should teach us a few things - we must start the new campaign again as individuals and a squad with the intention of learning from our mistakes."
