AC Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic was pleased with their summer tour of China.
Mihajlovic is happy with what he's seen from his squad.
He said, “I am satisfied with the work done so far because we changed players, tactical system and approach to training. There's a month to go and we'll be ready for the start of the season on August 23.
“I have to make the players realise how things are, which is that without certain rules we'll get nowhere. They are intelligent lads and if they understand that I think things will go well."
Mihajlovic was asked which players had most impressed him over the summer and named two teenagers.
“I don't like to talk about individuals, but if I have to make an exception than I'll say Calabria and Ely. They are two very promising youngsters and can improve a great deal training with us. Perhaps because I didn't know much about them before, they surprised me the most.
“I know Montolivo more than anyone, as we already worked together at Fiorentina. I know both his personality and technical characteristics."
