AC Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic was pleased with their 1-0 win over Inter Milan in China.
A Philippe Mexes volley earned the victory.
“On the goal and not only that we did our training ground routines and remained fairly dangerous throughout," said Mihajlovic in his Press conference.
“We have work to do and know that we must defend better on set plays, as on every dead ball situation everyone has to know what they are supposed to be doing, ready to block off potential counter-attacks.
“The important thing is to change mentality and play to win, whether it's against Inter or any other team.
“We started from scratch this summer and during this period are working hard on tactics. The players are concentrated to give their best and that is what I ask until these movements become automatic.
“I am pleased with the performance. We're on the right track."
