AC Milan boss Inzaghi pleased with Keisuke Honda form

AC Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi was pleased with Keisuke Honda in defeat to Valencia yesterday.

Honda scored a wonderful goal, but also completely mis-kicked two corners straight out of play.

"Honda is doing well in training, bringing quality and technique to the side. Today we had few alternatives, as Mario Balotelli and M'Baye Niang were at home, while Jeremy Menez wasn't fit to start.

"We have to accept the fact we lost, but it looks like a different team compared to three weeks ago. We must remain calm and analyse what we did well, but also improve where we got it wrong.

"We are Milan, so we have to take the initiative at all times. I accept mistakes, as this was after all a friendly, and we have to make it clear some passes at certain moments are vital."
