AC Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi insists he believes in Champions League qualification.

Inzaghi denies reports of informing president Silvio Berlusconi he should forget about qualification this season.

"I never said I didn't believe in third place. I definitely believe. If I wasn't ambitious, then I wouldn't have accepted the job at Milan.

"I just said we need to give our all and see if we deserve to finish third or if someone else does better than us, but the important thing is to give everything and gradually grow as a team through performances like this."
