AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti blasted Inter rival Jose Mourinho after he was sent-off against Sampdoria.

"In my opinion [referee Domenico] Celi wasn't afraid and Mourinho showed a lack of respect," said Ancelotti whose Milan side are six points behind Inter in Serie A.

"For this reason, it was right that he was sent off. We have to avoid adding pressure. All too often we don't help referees from the bench."
