AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti admits he has ambitions to coach a national team after he leaves his Rossoneri job.

He said: "One day I would like to coach Italy. I have trained Juventus, AC Milan and now it is difficult for me to coach another team in Italy and the logical conclusion, at this point, would be the Italian national team.

"As I said, I'd like to experience life with a national team and, in this regard, I have talked about Africa. I think that in Africa there are many talented players and I'd like to be able to assemble a team with a well-defined tactical sense.

"My preference would be the Ivory Coast."
