AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has again hinted they will seek to extend the stay of on-loan LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham.
Carletto said: "We are happy that Beckham enjoys being here and glad to have him because he is tactically intelligent, disciplined and altruistic.
"He will be the one to choose what to do in the future. For now it remains confirmed that he will return to America on March 9.
"He is very good at defending even if he has attacking characteristics and this is why he does not create a tactical imbalance in the side.
"I expected a player who would have more difficulties settling in, but his intelligence and qualities enabled him to come straight in and play.
"He is a great professional, but also a great man with noble sentiments, which is why he agreed to come with me and meet Stefano Borgonovo."
This week Beckham accompanied Ancelotti to visit Borgonovo, a former Milan player who has been afflicted by motor neurone disease ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
