AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has joined several Premiership identities in questioning the staying power of Arsenal.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard are among those to doubt Arsenal's chances of sustaining their challenge this term - and Ancelotti has joined in today.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "Arsenal play well and they are getting excellent results, but the Champions League is decided in spring.

"Arsenal have lots of young, enthusiastic players but experience was crucial when the competition headed into its latter stages.

"It's necessary to know how to handle the pressure and tension in the best way. I don't know if they are trained for this."
