AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed meeting with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich over the summer.

"It's true, me and Abramovich met," Ancelotti told Sky Italia. "He wanted to understand what my philosophy was.

"But it was immediately made clear that I had a contract with Milan and that I wanted to stay at Milan.

"It was an informal talk, and my club knew of the meeting because Galliani is aware of everything."
