AC Milan boss Max Allegri was satisfied with victory over Chievo.
Alexandre Pato's brace and Robinho's first goal in a Milan jersey secured a 3-1 victory over Chievo.
"In the first half it was an excellent performance, while after the break we were a little less determined," said Allegri.
"Only in the final minutes did we step the pressure back up and we earned the result.
"It was especially important to win today so that we could be in the best shape for Real Madrid."
