AC Milan boss Max Allegri has hinted they can afford to lose the derby against Inter Milan.

Allegri insists the result means more to Inter than themselves.

"The derby is more important for Inter than it is for Milan," Allegri told Sky Sport Italia.

"We already won in our last meeting, so a draw could even be enough for us.

"If I was told we could lose the derby, but win the Scudetto, then I'd happily take that. In any case, I want to win both."
