AC Milan boss Max Allegri was delighted with their victory over Napoli. Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic both were on the scoresheet in the crucial win.
"Tonight, we put together a good performance," Allegri told TuttoNapoli.net.
"In the second half after [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic's goal, Napoli started to react.
"They tried their best to equalise, but we needed to take advantage of the spaces left open by our opponents.
Allegri also spoke about the alleged simulation attributed to Robinho.
"These are things that should not happen, but we need to improve in these situations, not allowing our opponents to come back into the match like we did.
"I am satisfied overall, as we were missing several players in defence. We are a group that sacrifices themselves, and it is important we continue like this."
