AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is delighted to be top of the table after victory over Genoa.
Their 2-0 victory away to Genoa came thanks to a Zlatan Ibrahimovic penalty and Antonio Nocerino tap-in.
"We are top for a couple of days, then if Juventus overtake us, we'll just have to accept it. The important thing was to win in a difficult arena," said Allegri.
"After going 1-0 up we played well for a few minutes, then gifted Genoa a penalty and were terrorised for five minutes. The second goal was what we needed to definitively secure the result.
"We are playing decidedly well, but still need to improve in the way we control games."
