AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has defended his tactics after their draw at Barcelona.
Some in the Italian and European media criticised the Rossoneri for their approach.
"We did not employ catenaccio tactics. We simply used our characteristics," insisted Allegri.
"Barcelona always dominate possession against every team in the world. However, while they score hatfuls of goals against the others, they only had three shots on target with us.
"We had an excellent 25 minutes and certainly could've done better on the counter-attack, but it remains a wonderful performance, even if we didn't attack the way we usually do."
