AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri admits he's waiting for new signings.

Milan fans are furious at a summer that has seen players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, Alessandro Nesta, Clarence Seedorf, Gennaro Gattuso, Mark Van Bommel and Pippo Inzaghi leave.

"The club knows what to do. Some players have left and for now I can only work with the elements at my disposal, but more will arrive before August 31.

"I am not someone who chops people down. We evaluated along with the club, so some players remained and more will come in, so with that squad we must aim for a top three position in Serie A.

"The first real reinforcement is Alexandre Pato, who is doing well for Brazil at the Olympics."
