AC Milan attempted to offload M'Baye Niang on transfer deadline day, it has been revealed.Sky Italia says Milan were attempting to set up a swap with Genoa for midfielder Juraj Kucka, but ran out of time to get the deal done.
Niang also dug in his heels, refusing to leave as the clock ran down.
The revelation puts a new spin on Milan's failure to register the young Frenchman for their Champions League squad this week.
