AC Milan and Lippi's Guangzhou Evergrande enter commercial partnership

Italian giants AC Milan and Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande have entered into a commercial partnership it has been revealed.

Rossoneri officials met with Evergrande hierarchy in northern Italy to negotiate a deal which will allow both clubs to arrange such things as player loans and first-option schemes as well as working at youth level. Milan also want to improve their business associations to lure Chinese investors.

"Adriano Galliani was in high spirits when he received the president of Guangzhou Evergrande, Liu Jong Zhuo, at Via Turati," read a statement on the club's official website.

"The commercial partnership between the two clubs was sealed with smiles and a handshake. Galliani gave the Chinese club president a replica shirt with 8-Liu printed on it as a gift."

Guangzhou Evergrande won the CSL title last season under the management of Italy's World Cup-winning coach Marcello Lippi.
