AC Milan alerted as Agger demands double-your-money Liverpool deal

AC Milan are ready to pounce for Liverpool defender Dan Agger.

The Denmark defender's representatives are seeking to double the player's wages to more than £70,000 a week but have failed to reach an agreement, says the Daily Mail.

And AC Milan have been alerted to Agger's situation.

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez wants to tie Agger, who has 18 months left on his contract, and Dirk Kuyt to long-term deals. But the club won't be held to ransom.
