AC Milan powerbrokers are today discussing the prospect of moving for Chelsea striker Fernando Torres next month. Milam president Silvio Berlusconi and vice-president Adriano Galliani have always been admirers of the Spaniard and are considering a January move for the fallen striker.
It's emerged that Milan are prepared to bid for Torres should Manchester City fail to budge from their demands over a price for Carlos Tevez.
The Rossoneri have a budget of £20 million to spend on a new striker in the winter market and while that won't be enough to land Tevez, it is understood such an offer would be enough to convince Chelsea to sell Torres.
Developments are expected to accelerate after Christmas when Galliani returns from his holiday in Brazil.
