AC Milan veteran Clarence Seedorf doesn't believe English football is in crisis.

Seedorf's Milan thrashed Arsenal 4-0 in the first-leg of their Champions League clash.

"I do not think there is decay," he told Voetbal International.

"I have a different opinion. It often is said that between the Premier League and Serie A is a big difference, but I think the difference between these two leagues has never been great. At least not in terms of level and prizes. The Italian clubs have always done well in Europe, like the English clubs. They are snapshots of cycles."
