The Brazilian will start in the Gamper Trophy match at the Nou Camp, a return for the player who was a hero here from 2003 to 2008.
“They were probably the best years of my professional and personal life. I honestly believe that in the time spent together, we had a lot of fun," he said.
“I don’t like to say goodbye, so I prefer to think of this night as a reunion between friends and, why not, the rediscovery of an old rapport.
“The Camp Nou will always be one of my favourite stadiums. A sincere hug to all the Barcelona fans and especially President Sandro Rosell.”
