AC Milan midfielder David Beckham has suffered an ankle injury in training yesterday.

The England international has just agreed a deal that will allow him to remain at Milan for the rest of the season on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy.

But Beckham's mood may have changed after he fell awkwardly in training yesterday morning and limped off the pitch.

The injury isn't thought to be serious and reports suggest that it is a first-degree sprain, which should take no more than a week to heal.
