AC Milan accept defeat in bid for Arsenal's Adebayor

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani accepts they're being priced out of a deal for Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

"Adebayor has Milan in his mind, but if I have been beaten by Barcelona it is not because I'm a fool," said Galliani.

"It's difficult to compete with those who have higher earnings and the best fiscal system.

"Wenger fixed a meeting in Nice, but it's useless that I go. He told me he wants 45million euros (£35.6million) - an impossible sum."
