England U21 striker Daniel Sturridge insists the absence of three of the squads star players will not affect them at this summer's European Championships in Denmark.
Arsenal star Jack Wilshere, Liverpool striker Andy Carroll and Manchester City defender Micah Richards are all out of Stuart Pearce's squad for the tournament but Chelsea youngster Sturridge is confident that their depth is strong enough to make an impact on the international stage.
"The players with us are more than capable of doing the job," he said.
"It's important for us to keep the camaraderie we've had over the last six months.
"With the way we've been playing and training as a unit, I think we'll be fine.
"It would have been great to have Jack and Andy travel with us. The same goes for Micah Richards.
"They have all helped us qualify but the large bulk of the players in the squad are the ones who got us to Denmark."
