Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich may've tightened transfer spending at Stamford Bridge, but that hasn't stopped him splashing out over £200 million on a new private jet.

Le Figaro says Abramovich has become the first private purchaser of the new Airbus A380. He intends to use the 820-seat carrier as his private jet and it's suggested that part of the reason for the reigning in of spending at Chelsea is because of his investment in the 'new giant of the skies'.
