Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is becoming increasingly impressed by Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao.

Falcao has been recommended to Abramovich by Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas, who worked with the Colombian at Porto last season.

Abramovich is now intensifying his pursuit of Falcao after a recent run of goal scoring form.
