Roman Abramovich is considering his ownership of Chelsea after his fortune was hit hard by this year's economic downturn, it has been revealed. Russian news agency Prime-Tass stated Abramovich is weighing up selling one of his major assets, including Chelsea or his £200 million yacht, Pelorus.

A source involved in German football and an expert in football finance was quoted saying that talk of selling Chelsea has been gathering pace since November.
