Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is on a collision course with club owner Roman Abramovich over frozen out pair Fernando Torres and Juan Mata.

Mourinho is facing the first serious flashpoint of his second coming at Stamford Bridge because of his three amigos - Mata, Torres and Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Spanish trio are close pals and all feel they have been left out by Mourinho without the chance to prove themselves.

Mata and Torres are both firm favourites of owner Abramovich - and the People says the Russian owner showed unity with both men when he visited the dressing-room after Wednesday's Champions League home defeat by Basel.
