Abraham, Bony return set to give Swansea much needed boost

Swansea City manager Carlos Carvalhal has stated that he will once again be able to call on the services of strikers Tammy Abraham and Wilfried Bony.

Carvalhal was forced to start with Jordan Ayew and Nathan Dyer in attack during their 2-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night.

But as a huge boost ahead of the FA Cup clash against Wolverhampton, the Portuguese manager has revealed that the duo of Abraham and Bony will now be available.

The Swansea boss said: "I believe Bony and Abraham will be available soon, along with Ki. These are players we need to have.

"Today we didn't have a striker to play. You could say to me why didn't I play with Oliver, but you know he has not played 90 minutes very often.

"That means that probably after 60 or 70 minutes he would have to come off, and then who would I bring on if we need a goal? That's why we prepared for the game in a different way."
