Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby is happy with his fitness in preseason.

Diaby's career has been blighted by injuries but the Frenchman is now targeting a return to full fitness.

"On a personal level I am feeling good," said Diaby, 28. "I am still working hard to get my fitness back and so far things are going well.

"My aim now is complete my pre-season and then be ready to play."
