Ablett proud of young players making Liverpool impact

Despite poor results, Liverpool reserves coach Gary Ablett is happy with the amount of young players tasting first team action this season.

He told liverpoolfc.tv: "Results have been disappointing, performances have been in and out, but in terms of our programme, we've got two boys in the Champions League squad, and Damien Plessis, Emiliano Insua, Martin Kelly and Nabil El Zhar have all come in and had a go.

"In terms of providing for the first team, it's been quite a successful season for the reserves."
