Aberdeen have clinched a loan deal for Blackburn Rovers striker Nick Blackman.
The Daily Express says the Dons have beaten off Hibs and Motherwell to land Blackman on loan for the rest of the season.
The deal could even be completed before the Scottish Cup clash with East Fife.
Blackman, who is about to sign a new contact at Blackburn, had a successful first half of the season at Motherwell but turned down the chance to return to Fir Park and has decided he would prefer to work again with Craig Brown, the man who quit the Steelmen for Pittodrie.
