Aberdeen showing interest in Monchengladbach’s Leckie

Aberdeen manager Craig Brown is reportedly showing considerable interest in Borussia Monchengladbach’s Mathew Leckie according to the Evening Express.

The 20-year old Australian forward has made just five substitute appearances in the German Bundesliga since joining from Adelaide United last European summer but he has emerged as a target for the Dons.

Brown is in need of some strike reinforcements at Pittodrie Stadium as his side sits ninth on the Scottish Premier League table and is believed to be tracking Leckie who scored twice for Monchengladbach against the Dons in a pre-season friendly.
