Aberdeen make move for Plymouth duo

Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee has confirmed his interest in Plymouth striker Steven MacLean and his team-mate Jim Paterson.

"MacLean and Paterson I have a genuine interest in," said McGhee.

"As regards those players I want it done as quickly as possible, but these things take time.

"There are other factors that come into play such as other clubs, agents and wives and girlfriends, who also have a say in these things."
